An ambitious secondary school in Hounslow is seeking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Head of Design and Technology to lead a thriving department from September 2025.

The Role: Head of Design and Technology | Hounslow, West London
* Lead and develop the Design & Technology curriculum across Key Stages 3-5
* Provide inspirational leadership to a team of specialist teachers and technicians
* Monitor teaching and learning standards to drive continual improvement
* Develop innovative teaching strategies and foster a culture of creativity
* Champion student achievement in product design, engineering, textiles and food technology
* Organise extra-curricular opportunities including clubs, competitions, and exhibitions

Candidate Essentials: Head of Design and Technology | Hounslow, West London
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant Design Technology discipline
* Proven experience of teaching DT to GCSE and A-level (or equivalent)
* Demonstrated success in curriculum planning and raising attainment
* Ability to inspire both students and staff
* Strong organisational and leadership skills with a proactive mindset
* Committed to inclusive education and developing each learner's potential
