The Role
As Head of Physics, you will lead the Physics provision and play a key role within the wider Science department.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading and managing the Physics department
* Delivering and developing an engaging and rigorous Physics curriculum
* Raising attainment and progress across Key Stages 3-5
* Supporting and developing teaching staff within the department
* Monitoring performance and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning
* Promoting a passion for Physics and STEM across the school
What we're looking for
* A qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Physics
* Proven experience teaching Physics at secondary level
* Leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role
* A track record of strong student outcomes
* Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
* A passion for inspiring students in science
* Located within or able to travel to West London
