Hours : Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:30
On Call : 1 week in every 6

About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and reliable HGV Mechanic to join our growing team. This is a varied role involving both breakdown work and workshop-based maintenance and repairs. You will often be working independently, so confidence in your skills and the ability to make clear decisions on-site are essential.

The ideal candidate will be:
* Qualified as an HGV technician/mechanic
* Experienced in servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
* Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
* Honest, dependable, and punctual with a strong work ethic
* Able to carry out breakdown call-outs and workshop repairs confidently

* Competitive wage based on experience and qualifications (£45,000-£55,000)

Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on HGVs
* Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance
* Attend roadside breakdowns and complete call-outs efficiently
* Work safely and to a high standard at all times
* Maintain accurate records and communicate clearly with customers and the team
