Job Role: HGV Technician
Location: Birmingham
Pay: £44,460 - £49,140
Hours: M-F 8am-5pm (45 hrs)

HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter opportunity
My client, a well-established transport company is actively seeing to employ an additional experienced HGV Technician for their depot in Birmingham (based in the Dudley area). You will be working on an internal mixed fleet of circa 250 assets to include HGV’s (Renault and Scania) and Trailers. If you have any dealership experience specifically within Renault that would be an added bonus
HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter duties
- Carrying out diagnostics (Jaltest), servicing, and repairs on a variety of HGVs and Trailers
- Working with industry-leading brands such as Renault and Scania
- Ensuring all work is completed to high safety, compliance, and quality standards
- Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections and ensuring roadworthiness
HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter Qualifications / experience required
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served on HGV’s
- Hands-on experience working with HGVs and Trailers
- Any dealership experience would be beneficial especially Renault
- Full UK driving licence
