Role: HGV Parts Advisor

Location: Market Weighton

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Hours: Monday to Friday 8/8.30am -5pm and alternate Saturdays, 08:00am – 12:00pm

My client is a fleet maintenance company who have been established for over 20 years. They are customer focused and ensure constant training is provided to their ever-growing team. My client is constantly investing in new technologies to ensure they work to the highest standards. Due to their outstanding success, they are now looking for a skilled HGV Parts Advisor to join their team.

Key Responsibilities of the HGV Parts Advisor:

 

- Handle customer enquiries promptly and professionally, both in person and over the phone

- Locate and supply parts and accessories from stock or by placing orders with suppliers

- Process customer orders accurately using internal systems

- Maintain up-to-date and accurate stock records

- Ensure the parts department is well organised and clean at all times

- Build strong working relationships with customers and suppliers

- Communicate effectively with workshop colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery

- Regularly update the parts database with new stock and pricing

- Deliver excellent customer service at all times

HGV Parts Advisor Requirements:

 

- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or similar role in the HGV trade is preferred

- Strong customer service and communication skills

- Full UK driving licence is essential

- Organised, accurate, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
