We're recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy fleet operation based in Boston. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a Monday-to-Friday position with no weekend work, working on a well-maintained fleet within a professional workshop environment.
The HGV Technician role
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a fleet of commercial vehicles
• Complete inspections and diagnose faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Ensure all work is completed to DVSA and company standards
• Accurately complete workshop paperwork and fleet management records
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT
What We\'re Looking For in the successful HGV Technician
• Previous HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician experience
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in HGV Maintenance and Repair preferred
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Class 2 licence advantageous but not essential
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• A positive attitude and commitment to high-quality workmanship
