Position: HGV Technician – Days 4 on 4 off
Location: Haydock
Salary: £43000 + excellent company benefits
Hours: 6am–6pm
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

We are expanding our busy Haydock depot and are looking for two experienced HGV Technicians to join our night shift team.

What you\'ll be doing as the HGV Technician / Mechanic /Fitter
• Carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs on a modern HGV fleet
• Completing thorough diagnostics and fault-finding on mechanical and electrical systems
• Ensuring all vehicles meet safety, compliance and operational standards
• Working closely with a supportive team to deliver high-quality, efficient repairs
• Accurately completing maintenance records and job sheets
What we’re looking for in the HGV Technician / Mechanic /Fitter
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter
• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
• Strong diagnostic abilities across mechanical and electrical systems
• Good knowledge of HGV components, safety procedures and regulations
• A motivated, reliable technician who takes pride in high-quality work
