The Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Deliver planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Lead targeted interventions to accelerate student progress
* Support teaching and learning across a range of year groups and subjects
* Work closely with teaching staff to deliver high-quality educational provision
* Support students with additional learning needs, including SEND
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
* Contribute positively to the wider life of the school
The Ideal Candidate
* HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
* Previous experience working within a primary or secondary school setting
* Strong classroom management and behaviour management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
* A proactive, flexible and enthusiastic approach
