History Teacher / Stoke-on-Trent / Easter Start / Fixed-Term Contract
Are you a passionate History Teacher ready for your next long-term role?
Academics are currently recruiting on behalf of an Ofsted 'Good'-rated secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent for a full-time History Teacher.
The role is 5 days a week, starting from Easter (13th April) and continuing until the end of the summer term, with the opportunity for extension.
About the Role:
* Teaching History across KS3 and KS4
* Planning, delivering, and assessing engaging lessons
* Managing classroom behaviour effectively
* Tracking student progress and providing constructive feedback
* Supporting pupils to achieve their full potential
Applicant Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in History or a related subject (essential)
* Recent experience teaching History up to KS4 (ECTs welcome)
* Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills
* A genuine enthusiasm for inspiring students' curiosity and interest in History
