- Job Title : Pharmacy Assistant - Location : Milton Keynes - Duration : Ongoing Contract - Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM - 5:00 PM (45-minute break)
What You'll Be Doing
Join our team as a Pharmacy Assistant and play a key role in supporting a busy hospital dispensary. In this role, you will:
- Assist in the dispensing and preparation of medications - Manage stock levels and ensure medications are stored and delivered appropriately - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely medication administration - Provide medication counselling to patients as required - Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain accurate records
Requirements & Qualifications :
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or equivalent) - Prior experience working in a hospital dispensary setting - Strong communication and organizational skills - Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team - Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Working Hours & Contract Duration :
This role offers a flexible working position requiring availability from Monday to Friday with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs.
