My client, a highly-respected, world class Multidisciplinary Consultancy is searching for a Hydraulic Engineer to join their expert team of engineering and design experts, in the exciting, vibrant city of Manchester.

Essential Criteria:

* A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering

* Recognised Chartered Status (or actively working toward attaining this)

* Demonstrable experience in multidisciplinary design delivery

* Good working knowledge of hydraulic design of water and wastewater treatment plant design, pipeline design, and surge analysis

* Excellent understanding of UK design standards and the relevant section agreements

* Experience of the use of relevant software packages, including HADES, VARISIM, WANDA, etc.

It would also be beneficial for applicants for the role of Hydraulic Engineer to have the following:

* Experience of liaising with a range of stakeholders across the public and private sectors

* Willingness to proactively seek to advance your career in the sector

As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will be joining a growing team of dedicated engineering specialists in the design field, working on a number of varied, high-profile projects across a varied landscape. As you progress through your career, you will take on a range of different responsibilities, including the following:

* Working as part of a dedicated team to produce technical design projects whilst adhering to the relevant standards, and producing the highest quality of work

* Preparing briefs, scopes of work, and contributing to bid proposals

* Liaising with teams across the UK and internationally to deliver design solutions

* Adhering to strict quality assurance and design standards

* Managing budgets to deliver the highest quality projects on time and to requirements
