Interim Project Manager (Contract) Remote with occasional UK travel 6-Month Contract A great interim opportunity for a hands-on Interim Project Manager experienced in process improvement, system implementation and operational transformation. This is a key contract role, offering flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to deliver tangible business improvements within a fast-moving organisation. The role is predominantly remote, with occasional travel to UK sites to support stakeholder engagement and project delivery. The Role You will lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and the successful implementation of new IT systems. Working closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams, you will redesign workflows, improve data visibility, and embed best-practice processes across the business. Key responsibilities include: Reviewing and improving existing business processes, particularly across the order-to-cash lifecycleSupporting and leading IT system implementations, ensuring alignment with operational and strategic objectivesConducting process mapping, gap analysis, and root-cause investigationsProducing clear documentation, including SOPs, process flows, and training materialsFacilitating workshops, training sessions, and change initiatives to drive adoptionMonitoring performance post-implementation and driving continuous improvementApplying structured methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile About You You will be an experienced process or transformation professional with: A strong background in process improvement, business analysis, or operational transformationProven experience supporting IT system implementations, ideally in workforce or end-to-end operational systemsExperience within engineering, construction or telecoms environments would be highly desirableConfidence using process mapping and project management toolsAn analytical, delivery-focused mindset This is a great opportunity to deliver high-impact change within a growing organisation, in a remote position.
