Junior Accountant +ndash; London - Boutique Accountancy Firm

Our client is a 5 partner, rapidly growing professional services firm that specialise in working with high potential SMEs. Junior Accountant responsibilities include:
Recording invoices raised and bills received
Reconciling bank transactions
Posting journals for prepayments, accruals, payroll and other monthly/annual adjustments
Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns for bookkeeping clients
Assisting with monthly payrolls for clients
Assisting senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly management/statutory accounts
Assisting with any other related accounting and general administration work on an ad hoc basis
As a Junior Accountant, you will:
Be studying for your AAT or recently qualified (ideally first time passes)
Have at least a years+rsquo; experience in accountancy
Demonstrate a solid understanding of double entry bookkeeping
