Graduate/ Junior Architectural Technologist
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £26-28,000 DOE
A respected architectural practice is looking to add Junior and Graduate Architectural Technologists to join its team. Specialising in care sector design- including care homes, supported living, and dementia-friendly environments- the practice is known for delivering thoughtful, high-quality solutions tailored to complex user needs. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on meaningful projects that positively impact people's lives. Daily Duties:
* Assisting with the development of design and technical drawing packages
* Supporting planning and building regulations submissions
* Producing detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
* Collaborating with consultants and other stakeholders
* Participating in site visits, surveys, and on-site coordination
* Gaining exposure to dementia-friendly and inclusive design practices
Ideal Candidate:
* Recently qualified or early-career Architectural Technologist (degree, HNC, or HND level)
* Competent in AutoCAD; familiarity with Revit is highly desirable
* Interested in healthcare, inclusive, or care sector design
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
* Detail-oriented and eager to learn
* Based in or able to commute to Wakefield
