Junior Environmental Consultant
Location: Bath
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 + Benefits
A well-established environmental consultancy is seeking a Junior Environmental Consultant to join their growing team in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to develop their skills across a wide range of environmental and geoenvironmental projects.
You will gain hands-on experience supporting site investigations, environmental assessments, and technical reporting, while working alongside experienced consultants in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with Phase 1 Desk Studies and environmental risk assessments
* Supporting Phase 2 site investigations, including soil and groundwater sampling
* Logging soil and rock in accordance with industry standards
* Assisting in the preparation of factual and interpretative reports
* Supporting the development of remediation strategies
* Ensuring health and safety compliance on-site
Requirements
* Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field
* Some relevant consultancy or site experience (placement or internship desirable)
* Basic understanding of contaminated land and ground investigation processes
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Full UK driving licence (preferred)
