Junior Urban Designer

Are you a recent graduate with a degree in Architecture or Urban Design, passionate about creating thoughtful, community-focused spaces? We are currently working with a highly respected, multidisciplinary design studio to find a Junior Urban Designer to join their growing London-based team.

This is an outstanding opportunity to launch your career in a collaborative studio environment where innovation and tradition work hand in hand. You'll play an important role in supporting urban design and masterplanning projects across residential and regeneration developments, with the chance to work alongside experienced professionals including directors and team members in London and Winchester.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in site analysis to help maximise development potential

*

Contribute to the preparation of feasibility and detailed layouts

*

Support the production of design codes, development briefs, and planning documents

*

Help prepare design and access statements for planning submissions

*

Participate in public exhibitions and stakeholder workshops

*

Contribute to CAD drawings, hand sketches, and presentation materials

*

Attend site visits and assist in survey-related tasks

What We're Looking For:

*

Degree or Master's in Urban Design or Architecture

*

0-3 years' post-graduate experience

*

A working knowledge of CAD (preferably ArchiCAD - training available)

*

Strong visual, verbal, and written communication skills

*

Interest in traditional and classical architecture is a bonus

*

Hand-drawing and sketching ability is advantageous

*

Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and take initiative in a team environment
