Are you an experienced Key Stage 2 Supply Teacher looking for flexible primary supply work in Sheffield? Academics are partnering with welcoming primary schools across the city who require skilled and adaptable KS2 teachers for ongoing temporary assignments.
Position: Key Stage 2 Supply Teacher
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, ongoing supply (part-time or full-time)
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (dependent upon experience, training, qualifications and school rates, paid via PAYE - no umbrella fees)
Start Date: ASAP or from a suitable start date
About the Role
In this position you will cover KS2 year groups (Year 3 - Year 6), delivering well-structured lessons that support academic progress, resilience and independence. These roles are ideal for teachers seeking flexibility, variety and supportive working environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a broad KS2 curriculum aligned with national expectations
* Prepare pupils for assessments and SATs (where appropriate)
* Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities
* Maintain clear expectations and positive behaviour standards
* Collaborate with colleagues, support staff and leadership
* Safeguard and support the wellbeing of pupils at all times
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching KS2 (Year 3-Year 6)
* Strong classroom and behaviour management
* Professional, enthusiastic and adaptable
* Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
