Temporary Ongoing Role
£12.71 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to join a busykitchen and staff restaurant team on a temporary ongoing basis in Dartford.
This role would suit someone who is reliable, hardworking, and able to work well in a busy environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
Duties will include:
* Keeping kitchen, food preparation, and serving areas clean and tidy
* Washing dishes, cutlery, and kitchen equipment
* Cleaning floors, surfaces, and kitchen areas
* Serving breakfast, lunch, and snacks to staff
* Using the till when required
* Assisting with basic food preparation
* Receiving and storing food deliveries correctly
* Carrying out temperature and quality checks on deliveries
* Disposing of waste and recycling appropriately
* Supporting other kitchen team members when required
* Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures at all times
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous kitchen, catering, or food service experience
* A positive and flexible attitude
* Good teamwork and communication skills
* The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
* Good understanding of cleanliness and hygiene standards
Desirable:
* Food Hygiene Certificate
Immediate start available for the right candidate.
