KS1 Primary Cover Teacher - Worksop
Are you a passionate KS1 Primary Cover Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities across Worksop?
Academics are working with a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools throughout Worksop who require dedicated KS1 Primary Cover Teachers on a temporary, ongoing supply basis.

Position: KS1 Primary Cover Teacher
Location: Worksop, Nottinghameshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you
About the Role
As a KS1 Primary Cover Teacher in Worksop, you will deliver engaging and creative lessons across Years 1 and 2, supporting pupils as they develop key literacy, numeracy and social skills.
Working on supply allows you to experience a variety of school environments while continuing to make a positive impact on children's learning and development.
This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs seeking flexible teaching opportunities within Worksop primary schools.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality lessons across KS1 classes
* Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
* Create a positive and engaging classroom environment
* Support pupils' academic and personal development
* Maintain effective behaviour management strategies
* Assess learning and provide feedback where required
* Follow safeguarding and school policies at all times
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
* Experience teaching within Key Stage 1
* Strong classroom management skills
* Positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
