Academics are recruiting a KS2 Classroom Teacher to work across supportive and welcoming primary schools throughout Sheffield on a temporary, ongoing supply basis.
Position: KS2 Classroom Teacher
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or a start date that works for you
About the Role
As a KS2 Classroom Teacher in Sheffield, you will deliver engaging lessons to pupils across Key Stage 2, supporting their academic progress and preparing them for the transition to secondary school.
This KS2 Classroom Teacher role in Sheffield provides an excellent opportunity to work across a range of Sheffield primary schools, offering flexibility while gaining valuable experience in different classroom environments.
Academics works closely with schools across Sheffield who regularly require dedicated teachers to provide classroom support and maintain continuity of learning.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and structured lessons across KS2
* Adapt learning to support different abilities
* Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
* Monitor pupil progress and engagement
* Follow school safeguarding and behaviour policies
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within KS2
Strong classroom management skills
Adaptable approach to different school environments in Sheffield
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
