KS2 Teacher - Worksop
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher looking for flexible, temporary ongoing opportunities in Worksop?
Academics are working with a number of supportive and welcoming primary schools across the area who are seeking passionate teachers to deliver creative, high-quality lessons to pupils in Key Stage 2.
Position: KS2 Teacher
Location: Worksop, Nottinghamshire
Contract: Flexible working pattern, temporary ongoing
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or from a start date that suits you
About the Role
As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and inspiring lessons across Years 3-6. You will support pupils' academic progress, encourage independent learning, and create a positive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
This role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers seeking flexible supply work, long-term placements, or the chance to explore different school settings within Worksop.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
* Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners
* Create a positive, supportive and stimulating classroom environment
* Assess, record and track pupil progress
* Promote positive behaviour and classroom engagement
* Work collaboratively with staff, parents and leadership teams
* Uphold safeguarding responsibilities at all times
Candidate Requirements
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
✔ Experience teaching KS2 pupils
✔ Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
✔ Passion for supporting pupils' progress and wellbeing
✔ Flexible, reliable and committed to maintaining high standards
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
