This school is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team from January, on a long-term contract with the view of going permanent after a period of probation.

** Learning Support Assistant (LSA) specialising in ASD, ADHD, and SEMH

** KS1 & KS2

** Education and training

** Long-term with the view of going permanent

** £88-£100 per day (depending on experience and responsibility)

** Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30pm

** Hands-on & Supportive SLT

** Ongoing training & CPD courses available

** Brentwood, Essex

** ASAP/ January 2026 start

** Free onsite parking

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide support and assistance to students with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH needs

* Build strong relationships with students and gain their trust

* Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to implement individualised support plans

* Assist in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment

* Encourage students to engage with their learning and develop essential skills

Requirements:

* Previous experience working with students with ASD, ADHD, and SEMH

* Ability to build rapport with students and establish positive relationships

* Patience, empathy, and resilience in supporting students with diverse needs

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

* Commitment to promoting inclusion and fostering student well-being
