A background in supporting young people, whether in a school, a youth work, or a pastoral setting. Direct experience in a secondary environment is a distinct advantage.

A natural empathy and resilience, with the creative ability to adapt to individual learning styles and overcome educational barriers.

An unwavering commitment to child welfare and a thorough understanding of safeguarding procedures.

An Enhanced DBS check registered with the Online Update Service, or the readiness to apply for a new one.
