Learning Support Assistant - Specialist SEN School, Uxbridge

The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant in this specialist setting, you will:
* Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including speech and communication difficulties, sensory processing challenges, and medical or physical conditions.
* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to deliver personalised learning plans and targeted interventions.
* Encourage pupils to develop confidence, independence, and resilience while supporting positive social interactions.
* Help create a safe, structured, and nurturing learning environment where pupils feel supported and valued.
* Assist with personal care where required, always maintaining dignity and following safeguarding procedures.
What We're Looking For
* Experience working with SEN or supporting young people with additional needs is desirable but not essential.
* A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils.
* Positive behaviour management skills with a calm and supportive attitude.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
