Legionella Consultant

London | £40,000 - £50,000 + Bonus + Car Allowance

An established and growing compliance consultancy is seeking an experienced Legionella Consultant to join its Environmental Services team in London. This Legionella Consultant position offers the opportunity to deliver high-quality consultancy services to a diverse client base while working within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.

Salary & Benefits

This Legionella Consultant role offers:

* £40,000 per annum

Reporting to the Environmental Services Manager, the Legionella Consultant will:

* Undertake Legionella risk assessments and audits on domestic hot and cold water systems and evaporative cooling systems

* Prepare detailed technical reports based on site findings

* Collect microbiological samples and liaise with partner laboratories

* Work alongside AutoCAD contractors to ensure accurate schematic diagrams

* Upload reports to client management systems within agreed timeframes

* Split time between London-based site visits and home-based report writing

* Travel to client sites, with occasional pre-arranged overnight stays

To succeed as a Legionella Consultant, you will have:

* A degree in Science or Engineering (advantageous)

* A minimum of 3 years' experience in Legionella management and control

* Strong knowledge of current legislation and guidance

* Consultancy experience including schematic diagrams

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT systems

* Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach

* Professional body membership (desirable)
