Job title: Line Leader
Location: Paddock Wood
Salary: Competitive
Hours: 05:45 - 14:15, working 5 out of 7 (with two consecutive days off)

Key responsibilities:
* Supervise shift personnel across dedicated production line
* Carry out inductions for new starters
* Participate in daily production huddles and briefings
* Delegate relevant information from morning huddles to line staff
* Carry out required training as necessary
* Organise staffing levels to ensure maximum output
* Report on production achieved, and provide a details handover for the next shift
* Carry out QA checks and complete relevant documentation
* Monitor usage of sundry items and report any shortages
* Ensure 'clean as you go' is applied and followed across production
* Ensure staff are adhering to company hygiene practices
* Ensure equipment is cleaned properly and any identified faults are reported
* Follow sign off procedures and ensure paperwork and labelling is accurate
* Ensure all unused stock is returned and recorded
* Report all accidents, near misses and unsafe acts or conditions
* Maintain high levels of quality for our customers
* Identify and suggest areas for improvement
Experience and skills required:
* Experience working on a food production line as a Line Leader or senior member
* Be able to prioritise tasks and use initiative to problem solve
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Be able to delegate and give clear instructions
* Provide a supportive environment for staff
