Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (SEN)
Responsible to: SENCO
Purpose of the Role
To support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in accessing learning, developing independence, and achieving their full potential in a safe and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with SEN.
* Assist teachers in delivering inclusive learning.
* Support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
* Help implement individual learning and support plans.
* Promote safeguarding, inclusion, and positive behaviour.
Person Specification
* Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (desirable).
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Patient, caring, and reliable.
* GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
