Machine Operator | Blandford | £35,000
Earn £35,000 a year as a Machine Operator in Blandford, in a temp to perm role with an opportunity to become permanent for the right person.
You'll be responsible for setting up and running digital converting machinery, making sure every run meets a high standard.

As a Machine Operator, you will benefit from:
* A clear route to a permanent position with a well-established manufacturing business, for the right person
* A consistent rotating shift pattern (one week of earlies from 5:50am to 2pm, then one week of lates from 1:50pm to midnight), so you always know your hours well in advance
* Monday to Friday working, with your weekends free
* The chance to develop specialist skills in digital converting technology
As a Machine Operator, your responsibilities will include:
* Setting up and adjusting digital converting machinery ready for each production run
* Loading large rolls and sheets of material safely into the machine
* Monitoring the line closely throughout each run, spotting and resolving issues early
* Carrying out quality checks to make sure finished products meet specification
* Keeping accurate production records and a clean, safe work area
As a Machine Operator, your experience will include:
* Previous experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing , printing or packaging environment
* Confidence setting up and adjusting production machinery
* A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to high standards
* Comfort with manual handling, including loading large rolls of material
* Willingness to work a rotating early and late shift pattern
* Your own transport, due to the shift start and finish times
