We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading food manufacturer at their Daventry site. This is a permanent role offering stability, development opportunities, and an excellent benefits package.

Location: Daventry

Hours: Monday - Friday (8-hour shifts but choose your hours between 9am - 7pm)

Salary: £46,000 per year + Bonus Scheme

Contract: Permanent

Duties:

* Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a variety of machinery and equipment.

* Perform electrical fault finding and mechanical diagnostics.

* Support production teams with machine inspections and basic maintenance.

* Liaise with contractors and technicians during maintenance and utility-related activities.

* Ensure accurate recording of maintenance tasks on the company system.

* Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives including 5S and RCA.

* Maintain tools, equipment, and facilities in good working condition.

* Participate in small-scale engineering projects as required.

The ideal candidate must:

* Have completed a time-served apprenticeship or hold relevant engineering qualifications.

* Hold 17th/18th Edition certification.

* Have proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance (food manufacturing experience desirable).

* Be capable of working independently with strong self-management skills.

* Have excellent communication skills and a flexible approach to working hours.

* Demonstrate a proactive, team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail.
