Preparing monthly management accounts to trial balance, including journals, accruals, and prepayments

Managing cashflow, banking, reconciliations, and invoice finance processes

Overseeing sales and purchase ledger activity, credit control, and VAT returns

Running payroll, pensions, and maintaining payroll controls

Acting as the main point of contact for premises, utilities, and office suppliers

Supporting the smooth day‑to‑day running of finance and office operations within a small business environment

As a Management Accountant & Office Manager, your experience will include:

Proven experience producing monthly management accounts

Strong working knowledge of Sage or similar accounting software

Experience managing cashflow, reconciliations, and balance sheet controls

Payroll processing experience, including statutory payments and pensions

Exposure to office management or facilities responsibilities

A reliable, hands‑on approach suited to a small, family‑run business
