As Manual Turner, your responsibilities will include:
Safely setting and operating manual lathes to manufacture components
Performing manual turning on a lathe to produce precision parts
Working from drawings, SOPs and process control documents
Performing in-process checks and self-inspection
Raising tooling, material or process issues to the team lead
Supporting product and procedure development through CI programmes
As Manual Turner, your experience will include:
Experience of setting manual lathe machines (essential)
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (essential)
Ability to read manufacturing drawings (essential)
Basic computer literacy for data entry
NVQ Level 2 in Performing Manufacturing Operations or equivalent (desirable)
Experience working to tight tolerances (desirable)
