We are seeking a talented and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our thriving and supportive secondary school in Datchet, Berkshire. Rated Good by Ofsted, our school is committed to delivering high-quality education and fostering a culture of Courage, Compassion and Commitment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to take on a classroom teaching role across KS3 and KS4, with additional leadership responsibilities as Head of Key Stage 4 or 5, supported by a TLR 2A (£3,527).

Key Stage Leadership Responsibilities

* Strategically lead the development and performance of a key stage in Mathematics

* Promote the ethos, aims and public image of the department

* Drive high standards of attainment, attendance, behaviour and engagement

* Oversee curriculum planning, teaching quality and assessment within the key stage

* Monitor student progress and implement effective interventions

* Support and mentor new teachers (ECTs/PGCE trainees)

* Foster strong partnerships with parents and carers

General Teaching Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging, interactive and inspiring Maths lessons

* Create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment

* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities

* Maintain regular communication with parents regarding progress and achievements

* Uphold high expectations for student behaviour and academic success

* Attend staff meetings and INSET days, engaging in ongoing professional development
