We are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Stevenage. The Role- Maths Teacher:
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. The successful candidate will inspire students to develop confidence and enthusiasm in mathematics, fostering strong progress and achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons
* Monitor and assess student progress effectively
* Contribute to curriculum development within the department
* Support students of varying abilities to reach their full potential
* Uphold high expectations for behaviour and academic success
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* A strong subject knowledge in mathematics
* Excellent classroom management skills
* A commitment to raising attainment and student outcomes
