Maths Teacher - Supported Internship Programme - Aylesbury

Location: Aylesbury

Pay: £110 - £200 per day (depending on experience, qualifications, and SEND experience)

Contract: Part-time (2 days per week)

Working Days: Wednesday and Thursday (essential)

Are you an experienced Maths Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in Aylesbury? We are seeking a passionate Maths Teacher to join a Supported Internship Programme in Aylesbury, supporting young people aged 18-25 with additional needs as they develop the skills, confidence, and qualifications needed for adulthood and employment.

This Maths Teacher role in Aylesbury involves delivering a bespoke Maths curriculum from Entry Level 2 to Level 2, supporting both accredited and non-accredited pathways. You will also teach practical Maths and financial literacy skills, including budgeting, money management, and financial independence.

The successful Maths Teacher will create an inclusive learning environment, monitor learner progress, and adapt teaching to meet individual needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a Maths Teacher who is passionate about SEND education and making a lasting impact in Aylesbury.

Key Responsibilities

* Deliver engaging Maths lessons tailored to individual learner needs.

* Teach accredited and non-accredited Maths programmes from Entry Level 2 to Level 2.

* Deliver practical financial literacy and independence skills.

* Monitor learner progress and adapt teaching accordingly.

* Develop learning resources and schemes of work.

* Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

About You

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.

* Experience teaching Maths within an SEN, SEND, or inclusive setting.

* Strong ability to differentiate learning and engage learners with diverse needs.

* Experience developing schemes of work and learning resources.

* Familiarity with Pearson and/or Ascentis qualifications.

* Knowledge of RARPA is desirable.

* Flexible, proactive, and passionate about supporting young people.

* Must be available every Wednesday and Thursday.
