Responsibilities:
* Create schematics, elevations, and detailed drawings in AutoCAD/Revit, adhering to engineering directives, UK standards and CDM regulations
* Generate and verify engineering calculations as necessary, with a clear understanding of the underlying engineering principles.
* Support the team by conducting primary project checks and reviews, addressing issues promptly to maintain timelines and quality compliance.
* Coordinate CAD/Revit drawings with other engineering disciplines, ensuring a collaborative understanding of all relevant engineering principles.
* Provide assistance with AutoCAD/Revit tasks as needed.
* While supporting the team leader, demonstrate initiative in managing and progressing design projects, ensuring deadlines are met.
The ideal Mechanical Engineer will have:
* At least 3 years of experience working in building services, with a strong focus on mechanical and electrical systems.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with a solid understanding of their application in building services design.
* Experience in producing engineering calculations and schematics.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with clients, contractors, and design teams.
