Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – £42,000 – Hammersmith
📍 Location: Hammersmith
💷 Salary: £42,000 + Overtime
🕒 Hours: Days Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
PRS Recruitment seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to oversee mechanical PPMs, reactive maintenance, and general building services for a large site in Hammersmith. Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems
- Respond promptly to emergency callouts and resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain and repair HVAC plant, AHUs, FCUs, VAV, VRV systems, and water treatment equipment
- Work on general building maintenance tasks as required, including pumps, boilers, drainage, and plumbing
- Conduct fault-finding and repair on key mechanical systems
- Operate and manage BMS (Building Management System) and Head End Controls
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
- Ideally, 3 years of experience in building services maintenance
- Experience with planned and reactive maintenance on heating/cooling systems primarily, with experience of steam/BMS systems/plumbing advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to diagnose faults effectively
- Motivated to succeed and develop within the role
