Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Knightsbridge
Location: Knightsbridge, London
Hours: Monday to Friday – Split Days (7:00am–4:00pm / 9:00am–6:00pm)
Salary: £46,000 + Plenty of Overtime Available
We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a professional on-site maintenance team at a prestigious property in Knightsbridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a stable Monday–Friday role with strong earning potential through overtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical building services.
- Maintaining systems such as pumps, motors, valves, pipework, plumbing systems, and plant equipment.
- Fault finding and repairing mechanical and plumbing systems.
- Supporting the wider engineering team to ensure the smooth operation of the building.
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and site procedures.
- Accurately completing maintenance logs and documentation.
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing, or a related trade.
- Previous experience working in building services maintenance (commercial or high-end residential preferred).
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of mechanical plant and plumbing systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
