Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – St Pauls

Salary: £45,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday 7-4 / 9-6 split days

We’re looking for a proactive Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in a prestigious commercial office building located by St Pauls Station. You may be required to attend one of their smaller sites in Tottenham Court Road occassionaly. 

This is a hands-on role, perfect for an experienced engineer who can take ownership of both Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs, ensuring mechanical plant equipment operates at peak performance.

What You’ll Do:

- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance in a modern, high-spec office environment

- Maintain and repair Fan Coil Units (FCUs) and associated components including valves, actuators, and motors

- Diagnose and fix mechanical faults quickly and efficiently

- Ensure building services systems run smoothly to provide a safe, comfortable workspace

What We’re Looking For:

- City & Guilds mechanical qualification (or equivalent)

- Proven mechanical maintenance experience, ideally in commercial or office settings

- Must have cooling tower experience

- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and general building services

- Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

- Good communication and organisational skills
