Mobile Crane Engineer
Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

About your new company:
Our client, a leading national manufacturer and provider of cranes and lifting equipment, is seeking a skilled Mobile Crane Engineer to join their team. As a Mobile Crane Engineer, you will support the maintenance, repair, and servicing of lorry loader cranes and hydraulic loading equipment.
About your new Mobile Crane Engineer role:
- Conduct thorough examinations of lorry loader cranes and other hydraulic loading equipment in compliance with LOLER
- Perform fault diagnostics and resolve both mechanical and electrical issues on-site.
- Carry out repair work on-site where possible, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
- Provide technical support to customers and ensure all equipment is fit for purpose and operating safely.
What you’ll need to succeed as a Mobile Crane Engineer:
- Experience with lorry loader cranes is preferred, but candidates with experience in plant machinery, forklifts, or other similar equipment will be considered.
- A strong mechanical and electrical background with the ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively on-site.
- A full UK driving licence is essential for this Mobile Crane Engineer role.
- Experience in mobile servicing or field-based roles is beneficial.
- NVQ qualifications or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline are desirable, though not essential.
- Training will be provided for candidates without direct experience with lorry loader cranes.
