Position: Mobile Crane Engineer

Salary: £20ph to £21ph (£43,680)

OTE: £55,000

Shifts: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm

Overtime: Available

My client is a long-established engineering and maintenance business specialising in mobile crane support and servicing, with operations across the UK. They have built a strong reputation for delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service within the lifting equipment sector. Due to continued growth and increasing demand, they are looking to recruit experienced Field Service Mobile Crane Engineers to join their expanding team.

About Your New Mobile Crane Engineer Role:

As a Field Service Crane Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of Mobile Cranes

Your responsibilities will include:

- Carrying out routine maintenance and servicing of cranes

- Diagnosing and rectifying faults within electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

- Attending customer breakdowns across the region as required

- Carrying out crane modifications and upgrades

- Ensuring company procedures and health & safety standards are followed at all times

- Completing digital service reports and paperwork accurately using a company-provided tablet

- Representing the business professionally when working on customer sites

What You\'ll Need to Succeed for This Mobile Crane Engineer Role:

- Previous experience maintaining cranes is desirable, although training will be provided

- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems

- Experience servicing and maintaining plant machinery is essential

- NVQ Level 3 in Plant Machinery, Heavy Vehicles, or equivalent qualification

- Ability to complete digital reports and documentation

- Strong communication skills

- Good time management and organisational skills

- Flexible approach to working hours when required

- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

- Full UK Driving Licence
