Mobile HGV Technician
Areas Covered: Longtown/Gretna/Dalston/Keswick/Maryport/Carlisle/Brampton
45 Hours- Monday to Friday plus 1 Saturday in 3 (Sat 8-3)
Salary: up to £45,800 per year
No shift work
Our client is a leading provider of Mobile Service and repairs across the UK, due to continued growth and contract wins they are looking to recruit a City & Guilds/NVQ trained HGV Technician with a D1 Licence. The role will cover a designated area an hour and a half radius of where you live.
You will be attending jobs for large Blue-Chip Organisations, Contract Hire Companies and Schools, Academies & Universities. Work is pre- planned at customers premises, carrying out a number of tasks including services, repairs, Safety Inspections, MOT Prep & diagnostic work. You will also carry out bespoke jobs which training will be provided for.
The successful Mobile HGV Technician will need :
- High level of customer service
- Be presentable, punctual, polite and flexible.
- Own hand tools
Requirements of the Mobile HGV Technician
- Must be 25 years or older due to vehicle insurance requirements.
- NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the motor trade.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Full UK driving licence with D1 entitlement and with no more than 6 points
