Position: Mobile Truck Mounted Platform Engineer

Location: Bristol

Hours: Monday to Friday – Days

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Mobile Truck Mounted Platform Engineer to join a well-established business covering Warrington and the surrounding areas. This is a field-based role specialising in the service, maintenance, and repair of truck mounted access platforms, offering stable weekday hours, a competitive salary, and long-term career prospects.

The Role:

- Service, maintain, and repair truck mounted platforms (MEWPs)

- Diagnose and rectify faults on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems specific to vehicle-mounted equipment

- Carry out LOLER inspections and ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations

- Complete servicing, inspections, and repairs both on customer sites and at depot when required

- Accurately complete service reports and job documentation

- Deliver a professional, customer-focused service at all times

The Ideal Candidate:

- Proven experience working specifically on truck mounted access platforms

- CAP qualification preferred (Truck Mounted category advantageous), though not essential

- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrics, and vehicle-mounted systems

- Confident fault-finding and problem-solving ability

- Ability to work independently in a mobile role

- Full UK driving licence
