The Role:
* Teach engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire students to develop their musical skills and creativity.
* Support students in developing their knowledge of music theory, performance and composition.
* Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement.
* Contribute to the wider life of the Music department and school community.
* Maintain high expectations of behaviour, effort and achievement.
The Ideal Music Teacher:
* Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
* Has experience teaching Music within a secondary school setting.
* Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Music education.
* Is confident delivering engaging and creative lessons to students of varying abilities.
* Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Is committed, reliable and enthusiastic.
