Nursery Nurse - Primary School in Harrow | Immediate Start

Are you a dedicated and nurturing early years practitioner looking to support young children at the very start of their educational journey?

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harrow is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and experienced Nursery Nurse to join their Early Years team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact during one of the most important stages in a child's development.

Role Summary

* Position: Nursery Nurse

* Start Date: Immediate

* Location: Harrow, North West London

* Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience

* Contract: Full-time, long-term or permanent

* Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent (a degree in Early Childhood Education is desirable)

Nursery Nurse Responsibilities:

* Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5

* Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework

* Observe and monitor children's progress, keeping clear and accurate records

* Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

* Support the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive early years provision

Nursery Nurse Requirements:

* A Level 3 childcare qualification (or higher)

* Experience working in a nursery or early years setting

* A strong understanding of the EYFS and child development

* Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude

* A warm, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children

* A current enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
