What will I be doing?
A brief overview of the day to day:
* Develop the 'rhythm and routine' of the operation, striving for sold day by day operational performance with suitable controls and processes implemented,
* Management and development of staff, empowering the team to lead and contribute to the team's wider success,
* Ensure all staff are familiar with all policies and procedures, government regulations, and health & safety rules,
* Continuously assess your staff against an identified performance criteria, address issues of both performance and conduct, and follow the company's HR policies,
* Manage KPI's to meet contractual terms and internal expectations,
* Actively work to improve the overall performance, efficiency, and productivity of the team,
What do you need?
* An established background in warehouse shift management, ideally from a Retail or 3PL background.
* Ability to create an excellent working environment and implement long-term improvements.
* Proactivity to strive for continuous high performance.
