Responsibilities
Act as the primary relationship lead for a premium portfolio, taking full ownership of service delivery and providing high-level advisory support.
Review and oversee the preparation of bookkeeping, management accounts, VAT returns, and statutory financial statements for complex entities.
Ensure all deliverables meet rigorous standards in accordance with IFRS and UK GAAP (including FRS 101 and FRS 102).
Drive department growth by identifying value-add opportunities within your portfolio and supporting new business proposals and pitches.
Oversee compliance and client communications regarding employment taxes, including PAYE, P11D, and PSA matters.
Monitor WIP, billing, and recoverability to ensure the profitable and efficient delivery of the outsourcing function.
As an Outsourcing Manager you will:
Lead and develop junior team members through effective coaching, technical guidance, and structured performance feedback.
Plan and manage team capacity and workflow to ensure consistent client service and optimal resource utilisation.
Work collaboratively with clients to improve their finance processes, strengthen controls, and implement best-practice solutions.
Maintain effective review and risk management procedures to ensure all technical issues are addressed proactively.
Utilise advanced accounting software, including Xero, Sage, NetSuite, and QuickBooks, to deliver real-time financial insights.
