Part 2 Architectural Assistant

Salary: £25-30,000

Location: Cambridge

A dynamic and forward-thinking architectural practice in Cambridge is seeking a motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their Part 1 experience and develop their career in a supportive, design-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist in preparing detailed design drawings, technical documentation, and specifications across a variety of projects

* Collaborate with senior architects and design teams to develop innovative architectural solutions

* Support planning applications, building regulation submissions, and tender documentation

* Conduct site visits and surveys to collect information and ensure designs meet project requirements

* Keep up-to-date with building regulations, construction methods, and industry standards

* Contribute to sustainable and thoughtful design development

Skills and Qualifications

* Masters in Architecture

* ArchiCAD proficiency is beneficial

* Strong technical drawing and detailing skills

* Knowledge of UK building regulations and construction processes

* Good communication, teamwork, and organisational skills

* Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn

* Previous experience in an architectural practice is beneficial but not essential
