Part-Time Cover Supervisors / Stoke-on-Trent / May Start / Ongoing Opportunities
Considering a PGCE and looking to gain classroom experience? Confident leading a classroom and supporting young people?
Academics is working with a network of secondary schools across Stoke-on-Trent seeking enthusiastic and professional Part-Time Cover Supervisors to deliver pre-prepared lessons on a flexible, part-time, ad-hoc basis to suit your schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or those experienced in working with young people.
The Role:
* Supervise KS3-KS4 classes and deliver set work
* Maintain a calm, focused classroom environment
* Follow behaviour and safeguarding policies
* Support students and provide basic feedback to staff
What We're Looking For:
* Confident classroom presence and strong communication skills
* At least 2 months' UK experience working with young people
* Positive behaviour management and relationship-building skills
* Knowledgable on safeguarding and policies
* Flexible, reliable, and proactive attitude
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
