A supportive and inclusive SEN and SEMH school in Thatcham is seeking a Pastoral Support Worker to join their dedicated team. This full-time role is ideal for graduates in Psychology, Counselling, Criminology, Social Work, or individuals with a strong desire to support vulnerable children and young people.
You will be working with pupils who present with SEMH, Autism, ADHD, trauma-related behaviours, and emotional regulation difficulties.
Key Details:
* Role: Pastoral Support Worker
* Location: Thatcham
* Salary: £89-£100 per day
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
* Start Date: ASAP
As a Pastoral Support Worker, you will:
Support students' emotional wellbeing, provide 1:1 pastoral interventions, and help pupils manage behaviour and emotions positively. You'll work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and mental health professionals to create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment.
