Managing and processing multiple payrolls with confidenceHandling complex pay elements such as overtime, bank worker timesheets, loyalty bonuses, and service awardsManaging high-volume onboarding, ensuring payroll data is accurate from day oneOwning payrolls for around 225 employees, many with regular changesWorking to multiple monthly deadlines while maintaining exceptional accuracyCompleting detailed manual data entry, where attention to detail truly mattersUsing Sage 50 Payroll (training provided if needed)Contributing to the future implementation of a new cloud-based payroll systemProviding a friendly, professional service to colleagues and stakeholdersReviewing existing processes and suggesting improvements where you see opportunitiesWhat will help you succeed Experience in high-volume payroll processingA solid understanding of payroll fundamentals, including tax, maternity, paternity, and statutory paymentsThe ability to adapt quickly to new systems (Sage 50 experience is helpful but not essential)Strong attention to detail and pride in producing accurate workConfidence working independently with minimal supervisionA mindset that’s open to challenging processes and suggesting improvementsIdeal for someone who is: Comfortable in fast-paced payroll environmentsDependable, consistent, and known for their accuracyHappy handling varied payrolls and complex pay elementsKeen to learn, develop, and take on greater responsibility over timeIf you’re looking for a payroll role where your reliability is valued, your ideas are welcomed, and your skills can genuinely grow, this could be an excellent next step.
